i was watching this and thinking: why is this song so strange? and then i got to the end and it said "lou reed and john cale" and i said... oh, that's why.
i like the line where he says yr problem is you aren't willing to be a fool or something like that...
These are all Warhol quotes. They did a whole album/performance about his life shortly after his death. "Songs for Drella" (a nickname of his Dracula and Cinderella) The last song on the album is a Warhol diary reading about how pissed off he is at Lou. I obviously reccomend it. It's just the two of them all the way through.
I grew up with the "Transformer" album. I didn't find out about the Velvet Underground until my late teens. He's definitley not for everyone. He has some really bad albums. I like his street poetry.
