I am lost in a forest
of shadows and compartments
I hold the key but I see no locks
and every turn brings only more darkness
Where is the light to lead me?
Where is the path I stand on?
I have abandoned and am abandoned in turn
and only loneliness is my companion
Is there some truth somewhere?
I cannot see, cannot hear, cannot speak
and my mind races to stand still
A trap devised so cunningly
only I could do it
and succeed so well
at fooling myself

Very nice.
But ye shall be found, and it will once again be YOU that does it.
:)
The last verse rings true for me. Losing, and as Cdog points out, finding yourself again, is probably a common struggle. Maybe THE struggle.
yeah, great last stanza.
