The top one has that "painting look" I love so much. I would have thought it was, if it weren't for the little bit of railing (?) in the bottom right corner, and the angle of the horizon line.
it's actually a highway you see there. we're on a very, very steep hill (about 3/4 of the way up), and the highway is near the bottom. this is near cochrane, AB, the uber-suburb of calgary (it's done up like a wild west town--no kidding.). the town is located in the giant valley you see here.

yep. just below it. we stopped there, though, even though the teahouse was in sight.
