Crows are cool. A couple summers ago, we heard a cat howling outside in the daytime. This went on for a while, and eventually we went outside to check it out. The cat had gone up a tree where some crows had a nest, and by this point they were harassing the cat so bad it just wanted to leave, but was stuck. However, in addition to the crows with the nest and a few others in the tree, there were more crows circling around, gathering on the other trees in our block, responding to the calls of the ones in the tree the cat was in. I walked around the block, and could see literally dozens of crows moving in from all directions towards our street. Reminded me of The Birds, though they never bothered anyone except that cat.
