Funny story...I went to the Biodome today and saw some beavers, there was a beavercam in their lodge where they could be seen working hard at their logs, invading their privacy, gotta love zoos. Anyways, just next to them is the sea otter pond, and these otters are frolicking and twirling around in the water, just hamming it up. I liked the comparison, industrious beaver versus cuddling otters. I dunno.
I have a lot of respect for the Beaver. It weilds a human like power of being able to massively change its environment. Apperently back when there were a kigillion beavers around everything looked different in the bush.

I happen to be from Manitoba, and the buffalo is our provincial animal. So I know what a buffalo looks like....This sir, is no buffalo.

hmmmmm... excellent point, mr. rosseau.
perhaps that's why he titled it "beaver".
yet, correct me if i'm wrong (I'm not) but our provincial animal in manitoba is the bison, not buffalo.
