Hey, that spider has a good life. It eats a lot of bugs, has a relatively undisturbed home (other than when someone here feels the need to play some Malthusean economics), and it keeps on keepin' on, just the way we all do.
"he", or "she", not "it". otherwise, i agree. that spider has his own little painted tree to play in.
that kitty also has a good life, although her big brother charlie sometimes takes it into his head to chase her around until she loses her temper and claws him in the face.

I don't remember the last time I saw Dr.Q without being on, in front of, or carrying that laptop.
Maybe he could go on Amazing Makeovers and get it surgically glued to his lap.
We could all go too and applaud enthusiastically when he reveals his amazing transformation!!!
