Does anyone know more about this? It's outrageous. Steve devotes everything to this project, then once it has some success it gets yanked out from under him? I looked at the website and Pat and Steve's names aren't even on there (except in the "history" part). The way the site portrays the gallery, it seems to have lost it's edge. This is what happened to Plug in, and Ace Art. They went from open community galleries, buzzing with life and creativity, to pretty much inaccessibly bureaucratic gov't institutes. It makes me insane with fury. It's "the man" trying to hold us down!

=P

I don't know if the gallery itself has been over run by this bullshit, hopefully not. If it's still providing the same sort of programs, it's not the end of the world. I 'll go check it out and report back.

Yes, I know about this. I talked to steve on the beach the other day. He got his job back and some members of the board were fired. All has been restored!
