i like this photo partly just as a visual image (is there any other kind?).
i also like it b/c i think it sums up their artistic and personal relationship quite nicely. a certain trust/madness kind of thing going. risky, but rewarding.
I woke up cynical this morning..your analysis is probably closer to what Annie Leibovitz meant to convey about them, risky, rewarding, mad, faithful love, what better than that.
