You could have the sign printed on semi-transparent canvas and stretch it over the light box.
And while I imagine you'd never go for it... It would be super cool if the front looked as good as the back ie: let Graffitti artists paint the front of the building excluding the sign.
I look forward to seeing the results no matter what you do (Actually, paper and macaroni sounds cool too, hehe)
in case no one realized, these were made by jenni, not me. there are several clues in the work that suggest that, such as the fact that they look nothing like cave art. (i call my style "neo-primitivism" b/c then it sounds cooler!)
I hadn't seen these before the breakfast meeting, and I must say that I like the pixel effect. Combine this with ideas that we discussd and I think that we are on o something here. Way to go Jenni, these look great.
A Love for Art was a collaborative blog for visual artists, musicians, writers, and social scientists. This blog has evolved into a new blog called BETA, go check it out!

Oh, and I like the grey and orange and blue one.
I think the tiles should be more solid along the bottom, then start breaking apart as they rise. Think Tetris!
