I love the slegehammer wielding bathing beauty...that is one hot mama.
Is it these little events that create our lives, sitting at tables, doing stuff with sand and relatives visiting us that flag time passing away, I often keep time with small moments of in significance.

I actually did a double take and thought this might be some Culleton photo shop magic...(you in the 70's then and now).

Is it just me? I always remember the `70`s as being summer and orange, and the `80`s winter and blue

It's not just you, it is photography. Many of my memories are indistinguishable from the actual experience and the photo of it. I live my history through 'images', as I suspect most of us do to some degree. The nosalgic pictures of the family or old long-gone puppy or ourselves is a very important aspect of memory and our personal time lines. I look at a picture of someone who clearly isn't me, isn't how I look now, and I say to myself, "yup there's me when I was 6 playing outside where I used to live". In truth I don't remember it on my own with any convincable amount of detail, but I can reffer to this undeniable proof that it happened, and I make up the story from there.
