Hanging out with people who work helps a lot. And not hanging out with people who whine and moan about missed opportunities. I especially like hanging out with people who like to eat and hang out. Anyone for breakfast on Saturday morning?
Understanding missed opportunities is a good thing, just like mistakes, that's how one improves.
And hanging out with people that work does not always result in good things, as it is not a 'good' in and of itself. The value, if yielded, is in terms of what someone takes from hanging out with such folk.
A Love for Art was a collaborative blog for visual artists, musicians, writers, and social scientists. This blog has evolved into a new blog called BETA, go check it out!

Are you making those in your basement? I need a few frames... and am no good at carpentry!
Premade, I'm just assembling them although I do make frames in my garage. Maybe we can do a swap? Like frames for recordings.
Let me know the sizes/styles you're looking for...
Sounds great... I'll get back to you on that!
Lesson to be learned by those involved with ALfA:
It takes work to do anything, not just talking about work, or hanging out with people that work.
