brevity is... wit. (that's a simpsons/shakespeare joke, btw).
anyway, love this. every word has meaning and impact.
i like the (be) longing, too, b/c it contradicts but still reinforces the "violence's number one fuel" idea, since it suggests two fuels, but each tied in wholly to the other.
this comment in now 10x longer than the poem. and so much depends upon a red wheelbarrow glazed with rainwater beside the white chickens.

I remember reading that WCW poem in my first year English class...I loved it but didn't know why.
