I read about this. They made a movie where the SmurfTown gets bombed and all the smurfs are dying and getting dismembered and stuff. Unicief made it. Seems kind of hardcore and a little bit strange to me. They were making a point about children in war. Apparently some kids saw it in Europe and are now traumatized for life.
