I jumped up and as I've done many times before hit the frisbee so that it would fly up higher. I dunno of there is a name for this move I think of it as poping it up.
Except this time my hand went effortlessly through the frisbee. It made a loud pop and brok into three pieces that circled me and landed equa-distant.
I didn't mean to! Good art should not be destroyed. Especially useful art! Frisbees are hard to find in Korea.
Did you use an enamel or laquer spray paint? Those would change the chemical composition of the plastic and maybe make it brittle. If the stencil is still around, try acrylic on a new frisbee.
We were both with Mystrica when it happened. One of the greatest frisbee moments of my career. The disc fragmented into three and spread equadistant two meters to either side of ye Master Q. Truly amazing. I stood with my jaw dropped for seemingly an eternity.
A Love for Art was a collaborative blog for visual artists, musicians, writers, and social scientists. This blog has evolved into a new blog called BETA, go check it out!
