I have wandered a great distance to work here at "Wonderland", who's school motto is "everyone smiles at wonderland". I am isolated by my language, and so writing back home has become a major aspect of my social communication requirements.
I guess that's how good poetry works... is more than one person can feel it is personalized for them. ...unless Carlos's poems really, are all about me...
The Sword? The Pen? With which will you find justice? The sword will let you write in blood what you feel to be true. The pen will protest loudly to the masses what you feel to be false.
I say; "take that pen in your left hand" I say; "Take the sword in your right" That way when you poke out your eyes to take the scales instead you'll have a more suitable tool in your more capable hand to sever the eye the pen leaves half heartedly suspended.
And yes I am as crazy as I sound :)but written words echoe only in your mind.
A Love for Art was a collaborative blog for visual artists, musicians, writers, and social scientists. This blog has evolved into a new blog called BETA, go check it out!
