It was international children's day. The ngo I worked for (and indians in general) like to make an event out of any special day, so the hundreds of kids that benefit from scholarships and tutorial programming traveled to our base community for a celebration.
This little girl was part of group of three kids representing national harmony. One was dressed as a Muslim, one as a Hindu, and another as a Sikh. They were so little that when showtime rolled around they basically just held hands in a circle and looked around until someone told them they were done.
