What exactly does "professional, practicing artists who are within the first 5 years of their career.." mean?
That`s a small window to become a professional. Or you become eligible to submit in the early stage of being professional?
When is one professional? When you can quit your day job?
Truth is, I wish they could both win (Shaun AND Mel) cause they are great painters. Good Winnipeg representation, and one of the jurors is Mr. P. Butler ;)
I like Chris Millar's work. Ben Pinkey's portraits are cooool.
