It is funny how this photo seems to be photoshopped due to certain questions in image quality. I guess that if this was the standard look of photos back in the day, it could explains why people would believe those ectoplasm photos and ghost photos as reality.
I especially like how the picture of the children illustrates (inadvertently) the technique with the colour mistake in the bottom corner of the photograph.

at first i thought: hoax.
crazy technique-- six colour filters, with subjects holding a pose.
such detail, though. great pics.
