Words of Wisdom...

If you wind up with a boring, miserable life because you listened to your mom, your dad, your teacher, your priest, or some guy on TV telling you how to do your shit, then you deserve it.

I once played in a band called the Doctors of Involuntary Reduction, based on a term from F.Z.'s autobiography, the Doctrine of Involuntary Induction.

We had no songs, no setlist, and we switched instruments randomly whenever we felt like it. I think we did two gigs.

Damon Mitchell, Pat Wright, and Leigh Filbert were the other guys in the band along with myself.

It was fun!

when I hosted the all ages shindig at the Label a few weeks ago, one band "Rocket Circus" was truly fantastic. They reminded me of my youth and how there is no doctrine of rules in music at that age. Whether we like to admit it or not, we lose a good chunk of that as we age.
They were a cross of Beatles, Zappa, and Monty Python.
I`ll be keeping an "i" on them.

Maurio Zappio is the real estate agent selling a house I'm buying. no relation.

I saw the guitarist from Zappa(name?) play in Milan.

I love Zappa's tell it like it is moments.

I think mankind is miserable, but mankind wouldn't have it any other way.
