How 'bout if I'm looking at you from the left at a 63 degree angle?

What happens then?

i'm really into the British composer of sacred music these days Sir John Tavener. he writes for big choirs, very sparse, ethereal music.

here's a quote from his website:

"Caveat: This site does not endorse the politics of the Orthodox Church which we find sexist, racist and far-right wing, nor its poor record on human rights. We do like, however, the pagan ritualistic elements, culled from other pre-literate religions."

That sounds a big like some of our beliefs, no?

Is there "our beliefs"?

I really like this post...

As to 'our beliefs', I would say that there definitely could be said to be a set of beliefs encompassing all the beliefs held by everyone on this blog. As to whether the beliefs of any two individuals within that set have any overlap, that might be less likely!

So, if 'our beliefs' just means 'all of our beliefs taken as a whole', then sure it exists. If you mean 'the set of beliefs collectively held by all of us', then I would say, ummmm, probably no.

*sigh* ... I can't help thinking like a linguist, dammit! Gotta work on my thesis...

by "our beliefs", i only meant some of our individual ideas about spirituality, faith, etc-- carlos' organicum, for e.g., or smoky tiger's self-mythology, or my own personal christian/mysticism blend.

I`m a right-wing non-practising atheist who is comfortable knowing that we just don`t know who is automatic or who is standard who is stranded what is fable and what is able or who is death or who is life and what is meth and what is pipe and these our leaders and our lead to these dreamers in our head who glide through planes of time and space at the office through the waste of satori here on earth with souls exhumed for blind rebirth falling up and climbing down watch your watch it`s ticking now

If you're breathing, we share something, and likely, a belief.

Even the atheist must have faith, regardless if it is in nothing.

I don`t get it- did he already use that line? back to the painting board.
I believe in a superior life form that probably doesn`t know we exist. Co-existing if you will.Like the bugs who live in our hair follicles. They probably have life forms living on their follicles.....
