Biomimetric

This is the era of biology
Where sin becomes measure
and your genes the song
of your enemy

The science of being
statistically squared
and economically
living

This is the era of
beauty antipathy
singing thing that
we all are one

Gregarious moments
mean nothing in
simples but listen
to reach you
and levels of
glorious
timpani

I especially like "where sin become measure and your genes the song of your enemy"

i like the 2nd stanza-- it uses the line breaks to good effect--

the science of being...

Does the first stanza describe Toronto life? How does sin become measure? Enemy? That sounds like race difference? Idealized harmony? Sins indeed.

I like glorious timpani, it makes me think of angels, but I don't think that last stanza belongs with the rest, it might even be better off on its own. The top three work together though, quite nicely, I almost want them all to start with "This is the era" like "This is the era of science, being statistically squared and econimically living".

Change it for me, would you?

I agree with Knick.

"Your genes (become) the song of your enemy"? Interestingly, a recent article in the NYT talked about people refusing genetic testing for fear of being denied health insurance.

The second stanza: Insurance companies see us as actuarial curves.
