The Dalai is threatening to resign over the crisis. I'm not sure what to think.
911 a hoax! No way, I don't believe it!
All these thing seem like fantasy to me, so distant, so foreign. Though I can relate to news on a city/provincial level. Issues like hoping they don't turn the Upper Fort Garry Monument into a Condo. Or what will happen to Lake Manitoba if they run a powerline down the east side of the lake. Or the effects of cutting Winnipeg's 500,000 dollar public art to 100,000. Or even the almost collapse of one of America's largest banks which will inevitably lead to(or has already) a recession for the USA, which will directly affect Canada's economy.
I saw on the news yesterday that China had released some footage of children playing in the schoolyard and civilians shopping downtown in Lhasa last week. However, footage froma Tibetan source showed corpses and police with guns running rampant around Tibet's capital. Also, the Dalai Lama gave a public speech where he stated that he would resign if the violence continued against Tibetans. Something fishy is going on, thats for sure.
Wait a second, he said he would resign if Tibetans protested with violence, didn't he? And hey, how does a Dali Lama resign? Isn't he a reincarnated living god? How does a god resign from his post? Would he become a Christian or something?
Nice picture. Can I go visit Yukdugu Andrew? I will bring a guitar as an offering if I'm allowed =).
The only images I have seen of China is random people beating the crap out of each other. I wonder what footage this is and where it's from and how old/new it is. It's so hard to believe any hype when you don't have the facts. side note: the chinese symbol for conflict is actually two symbols. One means crisis and the other means opportunity.
