Biting off more than I can chew.

That top photo doesn't do it justice. It was a meter of fluffiness, but the irregular terrain proved to be a challenge I wasn't fully prepared for. Each time I fell it took me 5-10 minutes just to dig out and stand up again. Super fun, but hard work. I am jello-legged and am very thankful to have the day off tomorrow for recuperation.

ooh yes i know that feeling and its a good one. once you get out of the snowdrift there an immense field of untouched fluffy white powder waiting for you. i was in montana 10 years ago when i first learned to do this. by the end of the day i was singing to myself on the way down. really pales in comparison to quebec where its always a battle between me and the ice.

Ha! It's brutal isn't it? Just when you think you're floating on the best stuff ever, you bail and can't get out and it's hell! Some day when we meet I'll have to tell you about the time I tried to pee on the side of a mountain in the powder, with the snowboard still on my feet...

Let me guess, you peed on your snowboard.
