Kin of an experiment here, I had some water damage to this drawing so I taped it down and splashed some watercolor on it.
I was a little nervous in doing so. I was really worried when the paper was all rippled but it flattened out beautifully.
The thing with watercolor though is really, there is no turning back. I need to work on that. Less is more so to speak, and let that white light shine through.
A Love for Art was a collaborative blog for visual artists, musicians, writers, and social scientists. This blog has evolved into a new blog called BETA, go check it out!

Instant fave of mine.
Actually, I thought it WAS a bluemask painting.
Very nice, indeed.
Yes, I too have noticed similarities in our work.
