fam #1


taken at my parent's house in pinawa. there's a lovely, dense forest just to my right, but for some reason my dad (who's normally quite a good photographer) decided to pose us in front of his shed.

It's the majesty of the blue shed as you have stated.

I wonder how many canadian artists have done work referring to Grant's American Gothic? I know I've done two pieces, one with my with my shirt off and the woman has been thrown over my shoulder. another where Brad Cole and his wife Allison are the subjects, with a basketball hoop on the garage in the background... then there's waterman's take. now this...

Good old Canada, America's little brother, reacting and enacting.

you two look so happy! such a pretty photo! the blue looks good on that shed by the way. hey that reminds me of the 'royal sports' building! dontcha think? just smaller. same blue and everything! funny.
