There is an interview with an amazing artist named Walton Ford. I hadn't heard of him before this, but he has since become one of my favorites. Skill, technique, intelligence.... super facinating stuff, check him out.

He is from the Southern States, born in 1960.

Hey this guy is really interesting. He also reminds me of James a tiny bit. Especially when his work is reffered to as a "hair-raising menagerie", or when he says, "the fecundity is almost disgusting..." Or even more so when he says (reffering to 'the elephant bird') "You know, it is one of the great bummers of natural selection that birds evolved to have no penises...Imagine the one I could have stuck on this guy.". And I nearly choked when the article read " . . .He painted a few "porno" pictures for the chef of the best restaurant in town, so he gets free food, which is a nice perk".
