Those of you that have known me for a long time know I am a 'closet' stilt walker. Many years ago I had the idea of making pogo-stilts, but someone has finally actually done it, and with better results than I had imagined. Check out:
i`ll raise you a footwear idea micro... I`ve envisioned negative polarity shoes. 2 opposite magnets (like the new monorails) under your feet. Walking on air! I`m comfortable releasing this idea as I`m pretty confident I`ll never follow thru myself. A + charged foot soul, and a - charged base. Held together my a mesh fabric or sumthin`. It`s GOLD I tells ya!
I would try out the double stilt system so that you are quadraped. Then go to the burning man festival next year. Indeed, I would reccomend an Alfa feild trip to the BUrning Man festival next year.
Sariously though did you WATCH the videos on u-tube? I spent about half an hour going through them and it's very exciting. These things actually work (with varying degrees of success determined by the user).
Well, there IS a first for everything (even if it's too close to another to distinguish).Often many succesive generations just means it was a good idea.
I was also too slow for my invention that is now kite-boarding.
There is always my stilt-skate idea left though. I can't wait till someone makes some of those. =)

Ideas are funny. If you think of something and search long enough, you'll find someone else has done it.

-Yes, it's like a backflipping, skipping 'tawn-tawn' on uppers.

Too bad you can't patent a thought. I suppose that would mean acting on the thought. This might be an interesting dialogue. Maybe I'll patent it.
I imagine that you could make better jumping stilts then these, although now that you've seen them, your creative mind has become corrupt.
We really owe it all to flubber. :)

Here's an invention that we should make:
A GPS system that tracks people by DNA. You put in there DNA and the satellites tell you where the person is and where they've been.
i think the X-men already do that.

I bet you could make better hoppin'sticks but you'd need a serious budget.
