15% Human, 85% Sheep, 100% Weird

Yep, here's another news post, from this article:

Scientists have created the world's first human-sheep chimera - which has the body of a sheep and half-human organs.

The sheep have 15 per cent human cells and 85 per cent animal cells - and their evolution brings the prospect of animal organs being transplanted into humans one step closer.

I don't really have much more to say about this, so I'll just add a few comments from the good people at slashdot:

- Wait, I thought Scottish Farmers had been making these for AGES!

- Hah, in Soviet Russia, humans are 100% sheep.

- Next we are going to have to send the sheep to public schools. And humans are going to complain that they are taking over our jobs.

- When they get to 51% human can you marry them?

- Mary had a little lamb.
