The ICC (see link) is attempting to create an exchange between Australia, Korea, and America in the coming years. Our success will be determined by the artists involved. Each country already has several artists representing them and providing homestay facilities. That is with the exception of Canada (so far). I am asking that you or any other visual artists you know participate in this project to some capacity, whether it be a full ICC echange artist, or just helping out. If you or anyone you know is interested in a trip to Australia, Korea, or America (?) or able to offer a space for homestay or some other help, please contact me by email.

Also does anyone have any advice on this regarding, traveling with and sending art, brochures, translators, places that house (residenies eg:SNAC), fund or show this kind of poject (in Winnipeg or elsewhere).
The WAG and Plug in have a 3 year wait, and are hard to get into, and the rest are too small or have some other feature that makes them difficult to utilize (Eg: the Graffitti Gallery is awesome, but might be a bit rugged for some of our older guests etc).

Thanks Carlos. I need (so far) 7 artists mostly from one city. So if you could set me up with 6 artists from Toronto we could possibly have the canadian show there. But c'mon Winnipeggers, where are you?
i don't know any artists. hoo hoo hoo, hee hee hee... it's st. paddy's day, and i'm a little tipsy.
...but i'll ask some people i know who might know some artists.
p.s. does anyone know sancho panza? that guy's a frickin' artist.
You can count on me to be involved in some capa'city.
Let's see...collage, drawing, painting, collage and painting, drawing with paint.
Good ood, carry on, when;s our deadline for submission?
Has Pancoe's mail entry one passed?
ideas-- piano nobile gallery in Wpg, at the concert hall. ask bluemask how to get wit dem.
mennonite heritage gallery here in Pegtown-- run by Ray Dirks, who's not only a hell of a great guy, but is also very into international exchange type things, and has all kinds of info, contact, etc. it's a bit of weird exhibit space, but it's big and established.
outworks here in town is good too. they prob'ly charge a bit, though.
and anyone who wants can crash on my couch/floor/camping mattresses.
Hey, good ideas! Thanks for your interest in this project. It makes me happy to think we might actually be able to do this. There are some good vibes floating around. What about the rest of you?
