Holy Kamoly, Either Lorne is a closet horticulturist, or a lucky guesser. I'm pretty sure this is Japanese Maple. Anyway, funny/startling thing for me to see here.
I remember tons of those around Yongwol, Kangwon-do when I lived in S. Korea. They get to be pretty big trees... I think at one point, I actually considered trying to smoke some of it.
Nutmeg I don't know, but I actually did try smoking some oregano while over there...the only effect it had was to make me feel like an idiot for smoking oregano.
I had a plant like this growing up against my gas meter when I lived at 706 Warsaw years and years ago, but I'm fairly certain it wasn't a Japanese Maple... Good thing I got to it before the gas man did.
Honestly I was wondering about that. Should I post this, could it be misinterpreted to be a pro-pot post...will it just look like pot. But then I thought, it's Japanese Maple.

if you eat nutmeg-- a few tablespoons with a cookie, for e.g., you get pretty wiggy. it's a long, mid-level buzz.

Looks like a pot plant.
lol, it does doesn't it?
I assure you it isn't.
we shouldn't be posting images of pot plants, beer bottles, drug paraphenilia, coffee cups, etc...
Dirty world.
it's not a pot plant, though.
it's maple.
doesn't maple make sugar? sugar... aka "the spice", intergalactic drug of the 20th and 21st centuries?
