i think this might be that ashphalt plant on archibald.
in my construction worker days, i worked on their roof for three months. it was very dirty work, and then every friday we'd knock off early, get paid in cash, and go to the marion and drink beer.
I think of Burtynsky now and then, he had a wicked show in Montreal which I managed to catch, although I haven't seen his recent movie.
I think it reminds me of him only because it is a photo of something industrial and somehow it looks beautiful. But I think his work is much more monumental then this little snap shot. I love the color.
And yes, I believe Wolfboy is correct with the location. It's right in my hood.
