Is this actually real, or is it some sort of test to see what your students will actually believe? It looked a bit suspect to me, but of course, real life is always stranger than reality.
amazing...I'm intrigued about how the worker ants remove the infected ants from the colony. Ants have no qualms with enacting whatever it takes to ensure survival.
Bugs don't bother me when they're really close up for some reason, maybe cuz it anthropomorphizes them or something. It mostly grosses me out when you can feel them creeping and crawling on you.

it's not the bugs that bother me. i kind of like them.
it's the creepy mushrooms growing out of their little skulls that freak me out.
