Humans have the possibility of manipulating events in the earthly sphere, using magical practices such as the manufacture of talismans, spels, and other such things to affect the middle-sphere of the cosmic soul. Contact is established through the fine-material of the 'sidereal' or 'astral body' that invisibly surrounds humans. Before the fall, according to the gnostice-cabalistic myths, the whole of heaven was a single human being of fine matreial, the giant, androgynous, primordial Adam/Eve, who is now in every human being, in the shrunken form of the invisible body, and who is wating to be brought back to heaven. The equivalent in man of the demiurgic, world-creating urge of the outer stars is the creative capacity of the imagination, which is sometimes called the inner star.
