Pre-Show

Hello Friends. On the night of the reunion of the Home Cooked Meals, I share with you all a small piece of my pre-show inspiration. And in truth, its moments like the one Nina shows here (and every other time for that matter) that make me want to dedicate every breath of my life to music and at the same time, hang up my microphone for fear of never achieving that intensity. Thing is, you'll never know if you don't do it. And do it we shall.
Hope to see some of you tonight.

p.s. Nina's got maybe one of the greatest outfits of all timein this one too.

I like it when she jumps on piano and then snaps the beat in between tickling the ivories.

And so calm. Amazing.Duende.

excellent show.
shivers still running up and down.

Mr. Backlash was fantastic!

Was that audience for real? They may not have deserved such excellent music (they didn't look excited/blown-away enough).

And while she is certainly a great singer and beautiful too, I wasn't too keen on her out fit. It looked like one of those protective wrappings they put on apple pears =P.

I would sign in as anonymous too if I was giving Nina's outfit guff.

get better, young krahn. the world needs you.

that was a crazy awesome show last night. i'm endlessly amazed by how talented my friends are. i thought ms. nina looked fab, and that voice, that voice.

kudos to all for a totally great show. sorry i missed skybird, but i worked until 11 (same for tonight, so i'll have to miss the minglers, i'm afraid).

That outfit is so hideous and off the wall that it makes it gloriously wonderful.
Who wears that? Nina do. That's who.

And, agreed on the fact that it's the lamest audience. It's hard work performing for that kind of crowd.
Must be Europe.
What d'you say we get all fancied up and catch a show then?

p.s. when i said i though ms nina looked fab ("and that voice, that voice", i said) i meant OUR nina, a.k.a. the a.c.t.

she/you rocked the casbah.

i'll catch any show, any time.

with anyone.

"take me out, tonight,
take me anywhere i don't care
i don't care
i don't care..."

(you have to have been born before 1978 to get that ref, i think.)

Wow, cool. I like that she looks a little pissed off at the beginning, either at the audience or the band (who sound like they can't really hear each other very well) - but doesn't let it really faze her ... until the end, where she looks ready to hop on a plane and get the hell out of there!

I'm hurt since I just bought a similar outfit at smart set last week. It was on sale.
