What's missing? I know you guys always point the sanitizing finger at me...I think the author is allowed to delete whatever they write, no?
Who's the judge here? You can't be a judge and an accuser face!
Don't shoot man!
Censoring is when someone suppresses somthing they find objectionable. I didn't see all the comments, but I bet it went something like this....Someone posts something that makes someone react by posting a criticism. Then that person reads it and says, shit maybe what I said is too hurtful, or contains too much truth, or decides they 'd rather not confront anymore. so they delete it.
I think self censorhip should be allowed. or if you post something, then it belongs to the public? now there's an interesting topic.
James did not delete the anonymous comments, I did. They were my own comments. After seeing the response I got to them, I reconsidered having them up. I was not trying to cause trouble, and decided to take Carlos's wise advise about silence being the best response to something you don't like. I don't know if that rule would work in every case, but these blog posts sure don't mean so much to me, that I am going to have a public argument, or as James put it, beat my chest.
A Love for Art was a collaborative blog for visual artists, musicians, writers, and social scientists. This blog has evolved into a new blog called BETA, go check it out!

Debate people! Question each other!
Just to clarify...

No beating, maybe just a few taps though...

My vote is: self-censorship must be allowed. Second chances are very valuable.
Second chances are the only ones.
And I say Rage!
