the sad part of the story is so many musicians lose their instruments from break-ins to car and home, especially on the road. in some cases, these instruments aren"t replaceable. Based on a true story? (minus the gowan)
my bro told me a story about Gowan playing a show in Brandon, and throwing a huge hissy fit, swearing, yelling at people, etc, b/c he had to use a public bathroom, even though it was in cordoned off area that no one else had access to.

yes, he fronts styx. i make reference to it close to the end of the cartoon. "all that's left are dave's STYX."... "mr. roboto fan club". :p
