Yeah, I can see the similarities. No projector work here. I'm really liking using the simple grid(in this case four squares). It makes the piece a little looser. I worked each square up according to its rythyms and patterns, then dropped some hard straight lines in to crispify. I have enjoyed painting this one. And how similar it is to the penguins in its use of pattern and contrast.

I had already assumed that you were using a projector...I remember thinking at the time that if you weren't ... good on ya...and so...good on ya!
The definition is really starting to make itself know in this piece.
