Haven't you seen a 6'4" person and a 4' 10 person date? In this case I'd guess the bikes are of the same era, or at the very least they have well matched seats.
I wonder if the one with the saddle bags carries stuff for the orange bike(no wait, the little one has a frontal basket. Hmmm, both are interested in using a bike on a transport.

Funny, I saw these bikes and got so emotional about them that I ran back home to get my camera. I saw the bikes and their riders later on in the week; gentle looking, smiling, vintage wearing sweethearts...sigh.
