This small bookshelf sits at my left, and has the books I am 'currently' reading/thinking of reading, or recently looked at for some reason or other. There is a larger bookshelf of stuff I haven't looked at in a while. I'm sure this set says something about me, but I'm not sure what.

carlos once told me he thought of books on his shelf as trophies of accomplishment. at the time, i was in a "give away everything when yr done with it" phase. now i have a few full bookshelves. several, in fact.
i really like this pic. something about a person's book shelf is always so interesting. whenever i go to a person's house for the first time, i'm immediately drawn to the bookshelf (and the art).
