back in the day, "hop" was a slang term for any sort of drug, esp heroin.
therefore, dr. seuss's "hop on pop" could be interpreted as a drug-culture reference, if you saw fit.
mind you, almost all of dr. suess seems a bit drug-culture-ish to me.
although maybe that's a failing of us modern, western types. the dream or fantasy world automatically has a drug connection, rather than an innocent or internal, self-directed kind of thing.
oh sure, wolfboy gets to make reference to "Hop on PoP" and I get ...discretion please...and censor my comment. pff, double standards I tell ya, I'm sick of the chauvinism on this blog. ;)
A Love for Art was a collaborative blog for visual artists, musicians, writers, and social scientists. This blog has evolved into a new blog called BETA, go check it out!

It's like a philosophical variation on Dr.Suess.
LoL!
I didn't think of Dr. Suess when reading this, but it's a fun idea...
"Is, Be, Eggs, and Ham"
"The Ontology that Stole Christmas"
Please, some discretion.
absolutely, it has that upside down sort of feeling.
Can you imagine if there was a children's book series written by Dr. Dr. Q.
possible titles:
" I rage in my hat"
"The rage in my hat came back"
"One Fish Two Fish Three Fish...pfff, that's weak kid is that the best you can do?"
