Just an exercise in photoshopping or otherwise adjusting images here. The one on the left is the new one and the one on the right is the original by Carlos. It seems when I lightened the image, which I'm sure is what my photo-prof would have told me to do, it changes the mood, and we lose the stark contrast of the dark dreary day to the bright fluorescent pylons. I suppose it has some new qualities, but what's better, or what was intended by the person capturing and displaying the photo?
A Love for Art was a collaborative blog for visual artists, musicians, writers, and social scientists. This blog has evolved into a new blog called BETA, go check it out!

It does change it a bit, I prefer the original, but am in full agreement that it is dark.
I prefer the original too. Better to see the sky's beauty!
yeah, the second one makes the street level look a little washed.
guess we'll just have to accept that c-dog's photos are perfect. :)
I can see the appeal of the touched up version but I do like the darker version too.
