there's an interesting (though, imo, rather pretentious) exhibit on at the cdn centre for architecture here in Mtl right now titled: An Urban Manifesto.
It's about the design and development of this building.
Like I said, the exhibit is a bit pretentious, but not too bad.

I think Winnipegers are pretentious.
Surely, what are we doing when we advocate for how great Winnipegers are?
And we are pretty damn amazing, full stop.
we're the heart of the continent afterall.
perhaps winnipegers just know their own worth, and despite this remain unpretentious; unlike the self important maniacs running around this city.
