The Transmutation of Species

2 aspects can affect this the change in an organism, the nature of the organism and the nature of its conditions
(the latter being more important)
Case study 1 - Wolfboy...feral organism living in Winnipeg(left) and now living Montreal(right).
changes? hat positioning, hair style, demeanor.

yes. yes.
very interesting comparison.

environmental mutations abound.
:)

I suspect no matter though, he will always be a little wild.

someone said to me the other day that, no matter where you go, you bring yourself with so. so any perceived changes are mostly in scenery, and fairly superficial in nature.

anyway, the hair style was a necessary change.

as for the demeanour, i am quite comfortable in the pic at left, surrounded by old friends who are speaking English, whereas in the pic at right, i am thinking, as per my normal Mtl style: "do i understand her properly? is she saying what i think she's saying? what's a donc? am i supposed to answer here? if i laugh, will i offend her?"

Interesting...I will add these facts to your case. :)

with that explanation wolfboy, I can see the "what's a donc" expression on your face.

style difference yes, but good point you always bring yourself.

Although adaptation has a funny way creeping up on you. when I first arrived in T.O. I would often have people say "you're not from Toronto are you?" I don't anymore, likely because I feel and look more comfortable and walk faster, I'm not sure.

Although, just the other day, someone told me I still look very "Manitoba"...I wonder if that was a compliment?
