While it is scary to some of us, the future holds exciting possibilities. Since it has exhisted, technology has been viewed as the inevitable cause for destruction by some, and an exciting frontier by others. Who can really predict what nanotech, biotech, information technology, and a bit of hope could do upon its convergence?
Technology will only work for us when then there is less of us for it to work for. So many technological advances have been made but we cannot take advantage of them because of our current political and economic systems. And yet they are the only systems available that can manage this many people.
A Love for Art was a collaborative blog for visual artists, musicians, writers, and social scientists. This blog has evolved into a new blog called BETA, go check it out!
