I have been amazed by the insects here, in particular, the Circada. Although I haven't seen one yet there presence is often deafeningly obvious. When I walk down the street I can hear their song as it builds to an overwhelming, enveloping, crescendo, then graually ends, and starts again.
Oh man, the coolest insect I ever saw was the Prayinh Mantis in Korea. They're like little insect people, very intelligent. They look around at you and wave their hands. I saw one pound a bottle of soju once.
A Love for Art was a collaborative blog for visual artists, musicians, writers, and social scientists. This blog has evolved into a new blog called BETA, go check it out!
