last summer, after getting home from tree planting, i noticed a smell in my room that wouldn't go away.
after much searching, there i found, between my bed and the wall, a dead mouse my kittycats had left as a welcome home gift. the year before, they decapitated a bird for me and left it at the foot of the bed.
apparently they do that to show you how they can help with the hunting, so that you understand you don't have to go away for long periods of time. "look dad!", they're saying, "look what i brought you!"

sigh...
It is all beautiful, the old must give way to the new.
I know it's probably not commercially viable, but this could make an interesting painting.
You'd get an -A- in Thorneycroft's class.
