last night, we wandered down into little Italy or whatever they call it. There's even a Bar Italia here, though much smaller and dinkier than the Peg's.
it was some sort of street party, with lots of bands everywhere, dancing, no auto traffic, people drinking and talking on sidewalk patios (lots of Nick Cage hand gestures, lots of dudes who looked like they were from 1970's movies).
A Love for Art was a collaborative blog for visual artists, musicians, writers, and social scientists. This blog has evolved into a new blog called BETA, go check it out!

further dispatches to follow.
looking forward to further news of the big city.

Italians love the streets, for talking, for drinking, for watching and for fighting. Life happens on the street.
I watched two clips of moonstruck last night...the hand gestures were intense.
"I LOST MY HAND!!!
WHERE'S MY HAND?
WHERE'S MY BRIDE?!"
LOVE IT
