Yeah, I added that last line as an afterthough, and then the aside in parentheses... but not without reason. I thought about the prospect of changing my own mind, and often the biggest obstacle is having to rationalize making that change - to yourself!

I think this idea is brilliant. Especially without the last line of the main stanza.
This is exactly what I find so indubitable and emancipatory about the human mind, namely the 'awesomeness of how simply and easily one can change it.'
Yet I feel that explanation behoves the person making change, and I say this loosely.

And that is exactly my point. An explanation is necessary to yourself, and that, to me, is unavoidable.
And if it is avoided, beware.
