The analysis indicates that the author of http://alabelforartists.blogspot.com/ is of the type:

ESTP - The Doers

The active and play-ful type. They are especially attuned to people and things around them and often full of energy, talking, joking and engaging in physical out-door activities.

The Doers are happiest with action-filled work which craves their full attention and focus. They might be very impulsive and more keen on starting something new than following it through. They might have a problem with sitting still or remaining inactive for any period of time.

my blog:

ISTP - The Mechanics
[ISTP]
The independent and problem-solving type. They are especially attuned to the demands of the moment are masters of responding to challenges that arise spontaneously. They generally prefer to think things out for themselves and often avoid inter-personal conflicts.

The Mechanics enjoy working together with other independent and highly skilled people and often like seek fun and action both in their work and personal life. They enjoy adventure and risk such as in driving race cars or working as policemen and firefighters.

I've taken the Myers-Briggs personality test before but keep getting different results.

I don't know, I feel that most of the personality assessment tools we have are bunk. According to this tool, my personality is ESFP:

Extraverted Sensing Feeling Perceiving
(Extraverted Sensing with Introverted Feeling)

What the shit does that even mean?

crazy word verification: slyherse

The analysis indicates that the author of http://www.davidmacri.blogspot.com is of the type:
INTJ - The Scientists
[INTJ]
The long-range thinking and individualistic type. They are especially good at looking at almost anything and figuring out a way of improving it - often with a highly creative and imaginative touch. They are intellectually curious and daring, but might be physically hesitant to try new things.

The Scientists enjoy theoretical work that allows them to use their strong minds and bold creativity. Since they tend to be so abstract and theoretical in their communication they often have a problem communcating their visions to other people and need to learn patience and use conrete examples. Since they are extremly good at concentrating they often have no trouble working alone.

That's for my blog, and it's definitely wrong in the last sentence! My own personal assessment (a couple of times) has come back as:

ISFP
Introverted Sensing Feeling Perceiving
ISFPs are peaceful, easygoing people who adopt a 'live and let live' approach to life. They enjoy taking things at their own pace and tend to live in the moment. Although quiet, they are pleasant, considerate, and caring, devoted to the people in their lives. Although not inclined to debate or necessarily even air their views, their values are important to them. ISFPs' interest can be held best through experiential learning, at which many excel. ISFPs will practice playing an instrument or honing a favored skill for hours on end, not so much as practice as for the joy of the experience.
_____________

That feels pretty accurate...

Then again, since the first one is an assessment of my linguistics blog, maybe it's a good assessment of me AS as linguist... interesting, perhaps different personality types apply to different roles we may have in our lives.
