The ontology of social inequality

The a priori political decision is how one balances individual and social responsibility. This is a fundamentally anthropological and sociological statement, and it eats you.

I'd agree that social inequality eats you.

These are interesting statements, but I'm most interested in the concept of who gets to make political decisions, why and what makes them a priori?

I don't know why you're interested in who gets to make political decisions, it's always been the same people throughout human history.

And democracy makes it such that everyone now has some say, eek.

:)

And why do some people have the ability to make political decisions more than others, that's b/c of power, and b/c of the ability to broker power (i.e. money and knowledge).

And what is a priori about this, I mean that the fundamental decision that is being made is about this balance between individual and social responsibility.

Democrat=Weigh social responsibility high
Republican=Weigh individual responsibility high

School of Athens, Raphael. circa 1500...uhhh, what else. A nice portrait of Michealangelo in there, near the front lying down I think.

I wish I had a photo of the painting I did of this where I replaced all the characters in it with figures from George Lucas and Stephen Speilberg movies.
